Citing “the same highly-placed NFL source that broke news of failed drug tests by both Miami running back Ricky Williams and Henry to Fox31 in the past” MyFoxColorado.com is reporting that former Denver running back Travis Henry has failed another drug test.
The source told the network that Henry is facing a one-year suspension from the NFL – a punishment he narrowly avoided last season when he was facing the same penalty only to have it overturned upon appeal.
He served a four-game suspension in 2005 for another offense.
Denver signed Henry to a five-year, $22.5 million contract after he had a breakthrough season with Tennessee, but he struggled through inconsistency and injury last year with the Broncos. He was cut in June by coach Mike Shanahan for inconsistency as a person and as a player.
The pending suspension would seem to cast doubts upon his ability to get another job, given his age and his history.

I wish I had never gotten interested in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Paul what makes you think that
Oh there will be changes but don’t expect any that really improve process, increase class sizes, or ensure long waiting…
It’s simply not true many older players are immune but the brain is a complex system that works and reacts…
I swear if August comes and goes and there aren’t changes I’m done with the Pro Football Hall of Fame
