Don’t call it a comeback…because its4’s not there yet, but Week 15 marked the first back to back wins by Tony this season, driven by contributions from Darrell Mooney & Greg Ward in the Flex & WR/TE spots–not to mention Calvin Ridley’s big day. If he can finish the season with two more wins…he won’t get back to even, but will at least make it respectable.

Week 15 Season Total points Weekly average

This week … Sunday games … because Fanball doesn’t think it’s important to have a full week slate of games to pick from as an option. Which is why next year, if we do this again, we’ll find another site to do it on.

Andy: Last week I liked my lineup. A lot of good that did me. This week … well, a couple of the guys I wanted to pick weren’t available because Fanball didn’t have the slate of games we were hoping to use. And, with the holidays, I kind of just slapped this together. So, who knows.

QB – Patrick Mahomes vs ATL – $8,600 – I get the most prolific QB in the game at home against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. I suppose the Chiefs could get up early and then run clock, but if they get a lead early, Mahomes is probably a bit part of why.

RB – Derrick Henry @ GB- $9,500 – I’m not sure this is a better match-up for Henry than his game against Detroit last week. But Green Bay is HORRIBLE against the run. And I think there is a chance Tennessee surprises the Pack this week.

RB – J.D. McKissic vs CAR – $6,800 – I will admit to have been asleep on McKissic to a large degree. The rushing numbers themselves aren’t eye-popping, though they’ve improved the last couple weeks. The looks in the pass game, however, have been ridiculous in recent weeks. There’s no reason for that to stop now.

WR – Terry McLaurin vs CAR – $7,100 – When he got just six targets in weeks 13 and 14, it was the lowest count he’d had in that category since … sometime in 2019. He was relatively quiet last week against Seattle, despite 12 looks. I feel an explosion coming on.

WR – Cooper Kupp @ SEA – $7,200 – With news of McLaurin being doubtful, I needed to strike now, as having two young kids running around sometimes prevents me from making last minute DFS checks. Seattle is playing better defense than it was earlier in the season, but Kupp is usually a safe pick for at least solid numbers. The Rams got some reality thrown back at them last week in losing to the Jets, so I do think this team will show up ready to play this week.

WR – Mecole Hardman vs ATL – $3,700 – Reports out of Kansas City indicate that Tyreek Hill says Randy Moss was a better receiver than Jerry Rice. … Wait, that’s not relevant here. They say he’s been limited in practice all week. My guess is that he plays, but maybe less than normal. That leaves some speed-guy looks for Hardman, who has a chance to well outperform his price tag for the week.

WR – CeeDee Lamb vs PHL – $5,700 – After disappearing for a while as Dallas was cycling through backup QBs, Lamb has done alright two of the last three weeks. I like his chances against a paltry Eagles secondary in a game that actually somehow still matters.

TE – Logan Thomas vs CAR – $5,400 – I can’t say I’m a huge Logan Thomas fan. In my perfect world, I’d have Travis Kelce here. Prices dictate otherwise. So, I’ll roll the dice on a guy who has 31 targets and 28 catches in three weeks.

Flex – LeVeon Bell vs ATL – $6,000 – In heavier usage last week, Bell started to somewhat resemble his past self. With Clyde Edwards-Helaire out for the rest of the regular season, the Chiefs will rely heavily on him, likely getting him more involved in the passing game. I like the chances that he starts putting up more points.

DST – CLE defense @ NYJ – $2,100 – For some reason the Browns remain tied for the lowest price defense on Fanball. I’m not saying they’re a recreation of the 85 Bears or anything like that, but this team can play.

Tony: Last few weeks have finally started working … so we’ll stick with it.

QB – Patrick Mahomes vs Atl – $8,600 – The best QB in the league against the worst defense…likely have to take this just to block Andy.

RB – Derrick Henry @ GB – $9,500 – Another one to likely block Andy — you want Henry in the lineup if at all possible this week.

RB – JD McKissic vs @ Car – $6,800 – A slight deviation from my recent weeks, due to just how much I spent at QB & RB1. McKissic has been solid, not spectacular, since Gibson went down.

WR – Cooper Kupp @ Sea – $7,200 – Always a crap shoot between him and Robert Woods … this week, both might feast.

WR – Allen Robinson @ Jac – $8,100 – ARob has put up a solid season, despite the putrid QB situation in Chicago. And Trubisky has played just well enough these last few weeks that some Chicago fans will likely try to believe that they don’t need to completely re-haul the position again next year.

WR/TE – Greg Ward @ Dal – $4,300 – Ward seems to have a connection with Jalen Hurts, so despite his price tag going up $600, he keeps the WR/TE spot.

TE – Dalton Schultz vs Phi – $3,700 – Coming into the season, some people thought Blake Jarwin would feast with the Cowboys WR trio drawing coverages, while others thought it would be a year of famine for the Cowboys TE. As Jarwin’s injury replacement, Schultz has put together a quiet, but effective season for the Cowboys–and could be in line for a decent week against the Eagles.

FLEX – Tyron Johnson vs Den – $4,400 – Johnson has been pretty solid the last couple weeks.  Could bite me if Keenan Allen and/or Mike Williams are back to full strength, but with Hunter Henry out for the week, the Chargers will need all the help they can get, even against the Broncos.

DST – Football Team vs Car – $2,200 – Cheap, effective defense against a lower tier team. Sign me up.
