Detroit came through on Thanksgiving. Anthony Maggio is up to 12-1. And the beat rolls on.

It’ll be pretty fitting if it’s the Vikings that are my ultimate downfall after a pretty good run here. But Minnesota’s defense has played well–especially at home–and the Jets offense has played well nowhere. While New York’s defense could keep the game close, like it did on Monday night against the Dolphins, I’m betting against them repeating that performance on the road on a short week.

Who I would take if I was still alive: San Francisco over Oakland – Did I pick them yet? The 49ers head across the bay to take on their cross town rival in a matchup that should be fairly one sided. This selection probably does doom the 49ers chances, so plan your fantasy lineups accordingly…

Who I would take if I was still alive: Green Bay over Atlanta: The Packers are red hot, having won four in a row, including Sunday’s impressive win against the Patriots. The Pack (9-3) shouldn’t have any trouble rolling past the Falcons under the lights at Lambeau on Monday Night Football.

Who I would take if I was still alive: San Francisco over Oakland – The Raiders packed it in last week after upsetting Kansas City 10 days before. I’m as done with the Raiders as it looks like the Raiders are done with the season.
