Matthew Stafford struggled with Calvin Johnson gimpy. Megatron showed last week he’s no longer gimpy, so Stafford shoots back up the rankings. Also, it looks like it’s safe to get Colin Kaepernick back into fantasy lineups, at least for this week in London against the awful Jaguars.

Alfred Morris owners can’t be pleased about Roy Helu’s three touchdowns against the Bears, but this is still Alf’s show on the ground and he’s a top 10 guy this week. I’m assuming that DeMarco Murray returns and Steven Jackson doesn’t for the time being, but both of those assumptions could prove to be false.

With James Jones likely out again this week, Jarrett Boykin is a top 20 play. And for those of you who didn’t panic and trade Larry Fitzgerald Jr. after last week, he’ll likely reward you this Sunday.
Tight Ends
- Rob Gronkowski vs. Miami
- Vernon Davis at Jacksonville
- Julius Thomas vs. Washington
- Tony Gonzalez at Arizona
- Jimmy Graham vs. Buffalo
- Jordan Reed at Denver

- Jeff Cumberland vs New England
- Sean McGrath vs. Cleveland
- Rob Housler vs. Atlanta
- Zach Miller at St. Louis
- Brandon Myers at Philadelphia
- Mychal Rivera vs. Pittsburgh
The pickin’s are pretty slim this week thanks to bye weeks. That said, Jordan Reed will likely spend more time than not ranked in my top 10 at the TE position the rest of the way.
Kicker
- Alex Henery vs. NY Giants
- Stephen Gostkowski vs. Miami
- Mason Crosby at Minnesota
- Matt Prater vs. Washington
- Garrett Hartley vs. Buffalo

- Jay Feely vs. Atlanta
- Mike Nugent vs. NY Jets
- Josh Brown at Philadelphia
- Sebastian Janikowski vs. Pittsburgh
- Josh Scobee vs. San Francisco
- Greg Zuerlein vs. Seattle
- Billy Cundiff at Kansas City
There are a couple decent matchups out there if you’re looking for a bye-week replacement. Too bad Caleb Sturgis is on my you-know-what list after last week’s performance, or maybe he’d be an option.
Defense
- Chiefs vs. Cleveland
- Seahawks at St. Louis

If you’d been trusting the Bears D/ST thus far, use their bye week as a chance to find a regular replacement, because injuries have completely ravaged that squad.
I’m one of your regular Sunday callers who’s been dealing with the Kaepernick quandry and just want to thank you for steering me off of Freeman for week 7 which would have cost me a W. Watching that game would have been more than painful.
Hey Dick, thanks for listening and calling in! Glad I was able to help you out. And yes, that’s one of the few ways that game would’ve been more terrible to endure.
WHO DO YOU THINK ALFRED MORRIS OR THOMAS N.O.
Hey Oly! I’d definitely play Morris over Thomas this week.
I was offered a trade. should I trade n.moreno l.fitzgerold j.reed m.prater for f.jackson j.nelson r.gronkoski a.henry
It’s a pretty even deal. I like the Nelson/Gronk side a little better, but that’s assuming I’d be left with another regular RB2 in addition to Jackson simply due to the injury/timeshare risk with Jackson should Spiller heal up. But if you like the way your starting lineup looks w/ Jackson in it and Moreno not at the RB position, I’d do it–though I’d try to leave the kickers out of it if you could.
Embarrassed I have to even ask this question. Very deep non-ppr league…Cecil Shorts or Helu at flex?
That’s a tough one. Shorts probably has the lowest floor AND highest upside, but Helu likely has a better shot at a TD–but not a GREAT shot at a TD. I’d probably Helu based on the higher floor, but if you need some big points I’d go Short and hope for the big play.
