Any team playing the Jets (yes, even the Raiders) make for a good fantasy defense.
Thursday TE dilema. I’ve got Garrett Graham going against Jacksonville but also have Julius Thomas with the injury problem which probably won’t be resolved until Sunday. I also could pick up L. Green with San Diego, but there’s the sharing probem with Gates. What do you think?
Graham certainly has sleeper potential, but I like Thomas enough that I’d grab Green and wait until Sunday to see how it plays out.
To be honest my confidence is not good right now having lost 4 of my last seven weeks due to my bench outscoring my starters. Please help. I need three of the following: DeSean Jackson, Dez Bryant, Josh Gordon, Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham.
That’s the blessing and curse of having depth. You always like your lineup, though you’re rarely able to maximize your scoring. I’d go with Gronk, Graham and Jackson, though if Campbell/Weeden starts for the Browns, I’d say Gordon/Jackson are a toss-up. Tough to bench a guy like Gordon, but Jackson’s matchup is tough to pass up.
WR2 dilema: I have Boykin at home with Flynn at QB v ATL, and Crabtree at home v SEA. Edelman v CLE and T. Underwood at home v BUF are free agents available in my 12 team standard league. Your current rankings would favor Boykin slightly though he was shut out last week @DET again with Flynn at QB. I haven’t really followed TB, but Underwood does look intriguing.
I have Edelman a spot ahead of Boykin, though his highest upside of the group comes with the downside of him suddenly being left out of the game plan for no good reason. But I don’t think Haden will cover him much, and Dobson is already out and Thompkins may be out, so Edelman might get numbers out of necessity. So I’d go that route.
