Tony got his bets a little bit back on track during divisional weekend, getting himself back into the black for the season’s entirety. Andy struggled again, probably betting a couple games with his heart rather than his head – which is easier to avoid during the regular season when there is a full slate of games from which to choose.
Playoff bankroll | Divisional W/L | Divisional $ | Remaining bank
Andy | $13,577 | 1-3 | -$2,436 | $11,141 |
Tony | $9,607 | 2-2 | +$3,214 | $12,821 |
Andy:
$4,500 – Tennessee at Kansas City: Over 53 (-110) – Even if Kansas City pulls a monumental upset and loses in this game, they are going to score points. Tennessee should be able to run on the Chiefs, so they’ll likely put up some points, too. Hell, last week Kansas City made the over by themselves. They might do it again.
$3,000 – Green Bay at San Francisco: Over 46.5 – I think the 49ers win this game but I think the Packers stay competitive and put some points on the board. The Niners wiped out Minnesota last week with little trouble, but the Packers protect Aaron Rodgers better than the Vikings protect Kurt Cousins. And A. Rodg will find a way to get enough points up to at least stay in the mix.
Tony:
$5,000 – San Francisco (-7.5, -110) vs Green Bay – This might be some wishful thinking (again), but I’d really rather the Packers lose this week, rather than have to listen to two weeks of buildup.
$2,500 – Tennessee at Kansas City (+ 280 money line) – Going to just trust Andy Reid to Andy Reid this game, while Mike Vrabel just continues to trust his quarterback to win it … by handing off to Derrick Henry 32 times.
For the second consecutive week, Andy and Tony tied in picks – though the results were better in the divisional round than they were on wild card weekend.
Divisional round | Playoff total
