Well, one of us seems a step or two closer to figuring the league out.

Fantasy Expert Anthony Maggio hit 10 of 15 games to lead the pack.

The rest ranged from nine correct picks to Andy’s six – what’s he smoking?

“The games just seem so hard this year,” he says. “No way I can do that badly again this week … unless I do.”

Week five presents another weak schedule of mid-season games the league is trying to bury so the end of the season can be exciting.

Here are the standings after week four.

  Week 4 Overall
Maggio 10-5 30-33
Tony 9-6 34-29
Vomhof 8-7 37-26
Andy 6-9 30-33

Bye weeks:
Jacksonville, Kansas City, New Orleans, Seattle

Game of the Week: Atlanta at Denver – Yes, really, this non-conference game between the undefeated Super Bowl champ Broncos and the surprising, one-loss Falcons is the best game on the schedule. I am all for saving some great division match-ups for the last couple weeks of the season, but it makes for some weak weeks during the middle. This game does have the upside of being a rematch of the 1998 Super Bowl … well, maybe not. But it is still the most compelling game on the calendar this week. Can the Falcons defense stop the Broncos from hitting 30 points? Can Matt Ryan lead Atlanta to more than a couple scores against an all-time great defense?

Game of the Weak: Tennessee at Miami – This pair of one win teams might play in Florida, assuming the hurricane doesn’t drive them out of town. Miami residents may see that as a positive, after the team dropped a deuce last week against Cincinnati on Thursday night. The Titans haven’t been good but they do at least bring a good run game and an up-and-coming QB. In a weak division that means they may be relevant sometime in the next few years. The Dolphins mostly continue to just look lost.
