My respectable 10-6 week in Week 4 dropped me even further behind Andy, as he hit on five of the seven games we picked differently to finish 13-3. He leads the season now 43-21 to 39-25. Five more games this week picked differently:

Monday, Oct. 10th | ||
Chicago @ Detroit | Detroit | Detroit |
Game of week: New York @ New England – The Jets have looked bad but they have enough talent where they’ll be sure to make a game of it, especially against a fierce divisional rival. The Patriots are atop the division but continue to show some vulnerability on defense. This will be an important game in determining the AFC East winner at season’s end.
Chicago @ Detroit – Detroit is 4-0 but has won a couple of those games late after falling behind. Doubtful that the Bears would allow the Lions to recover from a three score deficit if Jay Cutler and company can get off to a 20 point head start. This is Detroit’s first Monday night appearance in years and we’ll find out just how good this upstart team is.
Game of the Weak: Kansas City @ Indianapolis – A year ago one would have surmised that this could be a preview of a playoff game. Now they’re both mired in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Both teams showed signs of life last week with Kansas City getting their first win and the Colts pushing Tampa to the brink before losing. But in the end, this game matters little.
