Hmm.
We may need to hire an oversight editor. Contributor Rich won this Survivor Pool about a month ago, but his quest for a perfect season ended last week – not because he missed a game, but because he duplicated a previous pick.
We’re low tech and low budget here at Zoneblitz. We don’t have an alarm or anything to alert us to something like this, so if the posting editor gets busy and misses it … oops. Our bad.
At any rate, Rich has still picked each game correctly this season – and it’s still feasible that some people in survivor pools still had the Jets available to them last week. So … hopefully, no harm, no foul. Nonetheless – we’ll do better going forward.
Now, moving forward, everyone was correct in their picks last week except Andy. Andy isn’t doing much of anything right this season. Listen to everyone else.

After dominating the survivor pool in 2014, Fantasy Editor Anthony Maggio is struggling this year, missing three of his last four picks.
The rest of us nailed it last week, including Rich – who has yet to miss in 2015.
I wasn’t sure about his Kansas City selection, but his reasoning – basically that firing a Lombardi and replacing him as offensive coordinator with Jim Bob Cooter would prove to be a fruitless way to save the season – came true big time, as the Chiefs slaughtered Detroit in London.
Here’s the list of who we’ve picked previously: (more…)

It’s seven in a row for Rich. He’s on fire.
Wasn’t sure I bought in on his Kansas City pick last week, but sure enough, the Chiefs held on to beat the Landry Jones-led Steelers.
Four out of five hits at this point in the season isn’t too bad. Here’s how it has looked so far this season: (more…)

A lot of larger survivor pools didn’t last as long as ours did this season. Some early season upsets have wreaked havoc on such contests. And the run of unpredictability finally ended ours. Congratulations to Rich, who stood tall amid the chaos. His picks have barely been threatened so far this season. He wins bragging rights. So if there is one of us to listen to, it’s him.
The rest of us continue through the second-chance pool. We’ll continue bringing you our choices throughout the season – even though they don’t really matter much.

Everything looked good in week five until Jamaal Charles got hurt – and then the Kansas City Chiefs curled up in the fetal position and allowed arguably the league’s worst team, the Chicago Bears, to bite them in the backside.
That knocks Andy out of the survivor pool. John and Anthony had the Chiefs, as well, but they were already eliminated and participating only for their worldly opinions.

All who were alive remain so and each of us hit our week four survivor bet – though the Colts certainly made it an interesting endeavor.
Just goes to show nothing comes easy in the NFL. Here are our picks for week five and who we’ve chosen throughout the season. Explanations follow below.

100% agreed on the locks for the seniors if we had a fifth slot my pick would either be Matheson…
hard to say if momentum is gathering, but we had 10 seniors elected in 2020 centennial class, doesn't seem unreasonable…
I'm sold on 4 of them Brian not quite sold on Benton just yet
A special election could continue to gather momentum but it would probably only be 3-5 players at the most. Its…
