Alternative Picks: Week 11, 2020

Well … that tightened up quickly.

A 2-5 week by Andy kick-started a lopsided week 10 win for Tony, who still trails in the alternative picks contest, but now can think of paying off his lunch debt in Subway sandwiches rather than in Oceanaire seafood dinners.

Tony was 6-1 or the week. Here are the standings:

Good week for Tony. One of his better ones. Andy still has the edge for the season, but he’s been down the last couple weeks. Can he get back on track?

(Don’t) Bet the Mortgage: Week 10, 2020

It doesn’t erase the sting of eight previous crappy weeks, but the writers at least finished in the black together last week. The bankrolls are down, but the egos can be fed for a week. I’m not confident enough in this result, however, to drop the “Don’t” from the name of this segment.

Man, these two really don’t know what they’re doing this year. Last year it looked like they were starting to figure out the betting game, at least a little bit. This year, two losses for every win. Not a good look.
