Andy’s picks have been top notch and he’s dominating the Zoneblitz DFS competition, but when it comes to bets he’s choking like a overzealous dog on an oversized bone.
Tony stayed close to even for a while, but he’s been struggling of late. Only hitting on his biggest bet last week kept him within striking distance of staying even.
So, in short, after a year of competence in 2019, they’ve returned to sucking. If you are in Vegas, we suggest doing the opposite of what they recommend – or just print out this part of the blog and use it in your bird cages, much as you used to with newsprint. … you know, the gray paper newspapers are printed on?
Right. So … staying on task …

$1,000 – Green Bay (-3.5, -110) at Houston – For the most part the Packers have been very good this season. Last week’s game against the Bucs was a significant stumble, but Green Bay is far better than Houston and also is aware that the loss leaves them less wiggle room as they fight against the Bears for the NFC North and the Bucs and others for the conference’s top seed. I suspect Aaron Rodgers will be back on target in this one.
$800 – Cleveland (-3, -110) at Cincinnati – I’m going with a couple of road favorites this week, which makes me a bit nervous. I like the direction the Bengals are going, but I am becoming a believer in Cleveland this year, even with the big loss last week to Pittsburgh. Joe Burrow will keep it competitive, but the Browns will win in the end.
$800 – Buffalo (-11.5, -110) at NY Jets – The Bills have had a couple tough games in a row, but they get a chance to get right in a big way against a Jets team that has lost all but one of its games by double-digit counts. I think the team has largely quit on Adam Gase and probably won’t be competitive in defeat or victory until he is gone.
$300 – Carolina (+280 money line) – I’m probably clinching a New Orleans victory here, but I’ve been impressed with the Panthers. It looks like Michael Thomas might miss another game for New Orleans. And Drew Brees isn’t what he once was. If Carolina can get the run game going a bit, I think they’ve got a chance to steal this one.

$1,500 – Green Bay (-3.5, -105) at Houston – I still don’t get this one…the line has only moved half a point, and the payout is slightly better? Why is there that much money coming in on the Texans?
$1,000 – Jacksonville (+7, +100) at Los Angeles Chargers – The line varies on this one from 7 to 9, but the payout goes from +100 to -130. I don’t know that I think the Jags will win this one, but I think they can keep it close–Justin Herbert has been playing well, but he hasn’t been winning.
$750 – Pittsburgh @ Tennessee: Over 51 (-105) – This one just seems like it could be a slug fest…Pittsburgh has a good defense, but Devin Bush being out will hurt.
$250 – NY Jets (+430 moneyline) over Buffalo – Do I think the Jets win? No…but it’s the kind of trap game the Bills seem to be good for every once in a while.
