Win the big ones. We say it over and over again. Both of us did last week, turning 2-2 records into solid wins for the week. Again, damn, if there was one season to spend in Vegas, it appears this would have been the one.

Andy:

$2,500 – Houston at Tampa: Over 51.5 (-110) – The line started at 53 but has gone down. Could be the absence of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but Jameis Winston has continued burning up opposing defenses the last two weeks even short-handed. This game features two gunslingers and two bad secondaries. Both teams will score a ton… if you’ll excuse me I need to go enter some daily fantasy lineups.

$2,500 – Green Bay (+5.5, -109) at Minnesota – It’s very possible the Vikings win this game, but I’m surprised at the size of the line. Kirk Cousins has yet to win a Monday game. Dalvin Cook is hurt. And these games lately have just not been one-sided. I suspect this will be a nail-biter to the end, likely closer to a field goal difference for whichever side wins.

$1,500 – Dallas (-2, -109) at Philadelphia – Why is Dallas only favored by two? They’re bad, but the Eagles are worse and are banged up, big time.

$800 – Buffalo (+230 money line) at New England – With going on two decades of dominance in the AFC East during which writers and observers have tried valiantly to predict the demise of New England’s dynasty, one might consider me a fool for making this pick. I can understand that. But make no mistake – the Bills are playing better football at the moment than is New England. Do they win here? Maybe, maybe not. But it’s worth a money line bet in my eyes.

Tony:

$2,500 – Seattle (-8.5, -105) over Arizona – Seattle is still kind of playing for something…I think.

$2,500 – Baltimore (-10.5, -104) over Cleveland – At this point, I might take Baltimore by 20.

$1,500 – Kansas City at Chicago: Over 44 (-110) – High powered offense that can score on anyone and a low powered offense against a lower half defense.

$750 – Oakland (+292 moneyline) over LA Chargers – Not sure where this level of advantage is coming from for LA–they’re both not very good teams, but it’s not like LA gets a home field advantage.
