Last week sucked. But there’s nothing to do but get right back on the bike and try again – which is easier when the money you are still losing was found money to begin with … even if it is just hypothetical found money.

Week W/L Week $ Season W/L Season $ Bankroll

Here we go:

Andy:

$3,500 – New England (-10, -107) at Cincinnati – It’s fair to say the Patriots are not playing well at the moment. It’s fair to wonder if the end really could be near for the Brady/Belichick duo and for the Patriots’ dynasty. It’s also fair to note that this team seems to thrive on controversy, even when self-generated. And this Spygate II situation – along with playing the again inept Bengals — seems like the perfect scenario for the Brady/Belichick duo to get folks off their backs for another week.

$2,000 – Tennessee (-3. +100) vs Houston – I knew the Titans had quietly been on a roll. I didn’t know until looking that they were 6-1 both straight-up and against the spread in the last seven. Houston isn’t bad, but the Texans’ defense has been eviscerated twice in four weeks, including at home by a rookie making his second start last week. Anyone looking for a playoff-week replacement QB could do worse than Ryan Tannehill this week.

$2,000 – New Orleans (-9, -105) vs Indianapolis – The Saints lost a tough one at home last week and need to bounce back to stay in contention for a bye. The Colts have basically fallen apart the last month. This should be a blowout.

$800 – Miami (+160 money line) at New York Giants – There aren’t many lines I like this week. I actually think the Giants win this game, but neither team is any good. So, I’ll roll the dice here for a larger amount on a smaller line.

Tony:

$2,500 – New England (-10, -105) at Cincinnati – I don’t want to bet this game–I don’t want to profit from the cheaters cheating. Part of me wants Cincinnati to win outright, just to cram it in their cramhole. But for the sake of winning a fake bets column, I’ll go to one of the smaller online sports books at take the -105 with giving the Pats 10 points.

$1,500 – Buffalo (+1.5, -103) at Pittsburgh – This won’t be an easy match up for Buffalo, but they are facing a third string quarterback with their tough pass defense. I like it to be close at a minimum.

$1,500 – Houston at Tennessee: Over 51.5 (-110) – Couple of offenses that can get on a roll, couple of defenses that can too. Site I look at most frequently has a predicted score of 34.3 to 16.4 (never mind that the idea of decimals in scoring is ridiculous)–but I think the Texans score more than that.

$500 – Chicago (+180 moneyline) at Green Bay – The moneyline opened at +290, and has come crashing down–meaning I’m not the only one that thinks a Chicago team that has figured some things out can go to Lambeau and beat up on a Packers team that still doesn’t have an impressive win on their schedule this year.
