Andy hit the big Raiders/Steelers upset in this segment last week, making his 2-2 record look a lot better in the bankroll column. Tony also went 2-2, but he got the wrong games right.

Standings:

Week 14 W/L Week 14 $ Total W/L Total $ Bankroll
Andy 2-2 +$1,677 24-31-1 -$2,193 $7,807
Tony 2-2 -$79 25-31 -$3,300 $6,700

Maybe one of these clowns can rip off a hot streak before the season ends. Here goes:

Andy

$1,000 – New England (-2.5, -115) at Pittsburgh – Why is it I’m always buying the road teams these days? Oh well. The Steelers are without a running game. Heard this morning they’ve been passing 75 percent of the time the last month. Not the way to win against New England, especially when the weather gets cold. The Pats will be stinging from the Miami fluke loss and will be loaded. They win in a walk.

$800 – Cleveland (+2.5, -105) at Denver – I’m sold on the Browns. Cleveland has found its QB in Baker Mayfield. The defense is playing well. They go out to a tough place to play and get their second road win in three games.

$800 — Oakland (+3, -105) at Cincinnati – I’m not thoroughly convinced that the Bengals care anymore. They’ve lost seven of eight, including three straight home games by 14, 15 and 37 points. Four of the team’s five wins this season have gone over the number, but Jeff Driskill is not getting it done on offense enough to make this happen. Meanwhile, Jon Gruden’s undertalented crew is showing some fight the last month, going 2-2 in the last four, including a one-score loss to the Chiefs.

$500 – Green Bay (+220 moneyline) at Chicago – The Bears should win this game. They’ve improved since the week one comeback loss to one-legged Aaron Rodgers. But never count out A-Rodg. He’s too talented and now that he’s gotten the coach he was tired of playing for fired, he’s probably got plenty of reason to fight hard the final three games. It’ll be a tight NFC Central, err, North match-up.

Tony:

$2500 – Bears (-5, -110) over Packers – Khalil Mack will feast on the Pack’s backup RT, and they will have no answer for Tarik Cohen.

$1,000 – Dallas (+3, +100) over Indianapolis – I’m sure this will signal the end of the Cowboys push, but they’ve been playing good enough to beat the Colts, even on the road.

$1,000 – Detroit at Buffalo – Over 40 (-110) – there’s no way this game should go over…so logically, I’ll take it.

$500 – Carolina (+240 moneyline) over New Orleans – The Saints should win, but they’re on the road and Drew Brees hasn’t been playing that well as of late.
