Every Thursday on 1500ESPN’s Fantasy Football Pants Party, Anthony Maggio and Bo Mitchell field their Ballsy teams—a full fantasy lineup comprised only of players available in at least half of ESPN leagues. Each week Zoneblitz.com will publish a preview, with Maggio’s top-rated at each position among the Ballsy-eligible players.

Mike Glennon at New Orleans

Glennon is no Adonis, but he wouldn’t look bad in your fantasy lineup this week in a pinch. The Saints are allowing the sixth most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, and frankly have been even worse than that considering the Vikings and Broncos are two of the four teams they’ve faced. Glennon went for 302-2-1 at Pittsburgh last week and threw for multiple scores in eight of 13 games he played as a rookie in 2013. Losing Mike Evans for a couple weeks hurts, but there are still enough weapons to throw to against that Saints defense.

Jerick McKinnon at Green Bay

When a guy gets 19 touches for 152 combo yards in his first legitimate NFL action, he should be added immediately considering the dearth of valuable running back options on most waiver wires. McKinnon is probably at least a month away from wrestling the starting job away from Matt Asiata, but split duties for the time being appears to be the way Minnesota is leaning, and the Vikings will certainly want to lean on the run Thursday night in hopes of keeping the Packers offense off the field as much as possible.

Brian Quick at Philadelphia

Quick was dropped en masse last week thanks to his bye week, which could be your gain. He was targeted nine times each in St. Louis’ first two games, and scored in Week 3 despite just four targets. Though the Rams’ offense is tough to get excited about, Quick is still the clear-cut No. 1 and faces an Eagles defense allowing the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Quick, go get him.

Heath Miller at Jacksonville

Yes, Miller isn’t the security blanket he once was for Ben Roethlisberger, and yes, his touchdown last week was his first since Week 4 of last season. But he’s facing the Jaguars, who’ve allowed the third most fantasy points to tight ends. Jacksonville did keep Antonio Gates quiet last week, but this is too juicy a matchup to not exploit if you have a need at tight end.

Cody Parkey vs. St. Louis

Seriously people, why haven’t you picked up Parkey yet? He’s third in the NFL in scoring. Done. Next.

Texans at Dallas

On the road against an offense that’s clicking a bit isn’t the greatest matchup, but Houston’s allowing the sixth fewest points per game, is picking off a pass per game and is tied for the league lead with seven forced fumbles and five fumbles recovered. And JJ Watt bought his mom a car, which is nice.
