Every Thursday on 1500ESPN’s Fantasy Football Pants Party, Anthony Maggio and Bo Mitchell field their Ballsy teams—a full fantasy lineup comprised only of players available in at least half of ESPN.com leagues. Each week Zoneblitz.com will publish a preview, with Maggio’s top-rated at each position among the Ballsy-eligible players.

Mark Sanchez at Washington

Sanchez struggled against the Cowboys on Sunday night, but now gets a dreadful Washington secondary that’s allowed the second-most passing scores in the league. Eli Manning just lit up Washington for three scores. Sanchez should have no trouble bouncing back with a couple for himself.

Joseph Randle vs. Indianapolis

Randle only has 34 carries this season, but at seven yards a pop behind that Dallas offensive line you’ve gotta like what you see if DeMarco Murray misses this game against the Colts after breaking his hand on Sunday. Indy is nothing special against the run, though I should note has only allowed one running back touchdown the last four weeks.

Malcom Floyd at San Francisco

Oh hey, you again. Floyd had a rough Week 15, but that marked just the third time all year he’s failed to score, reach 50 yards, or both. Did you know he’s 30th among WRs in ESPN standard scoring? Yet he’s barely owned in 25% of leagues. Sure, the 49ers pose a tough test, but they have allowed five receiving scores the last three weeks to Seattle (twice) and Oakland—not exactly the most high-flying passing offenses around. And Floyd should get even more work now with Keenan Allen on injured reserve.

Dwayne Allen at Dallas

Allen’s had a slow return from a month off due to injury, which has left him on more waiver wires than rosters. But he found the end zone for the eighth time this season in Week 15, and now faces a Cowboys team that’s allowed the most receptions to opposing tight ends. Dallas has also allowed six tight end scores in seven home games. The end zone is Allen’s bread-and-butter. He’s got as good of a shot as any tight end at scoring this week.

Connor Barth at Cincinnati

All Barth has done since being signed off the street is kick 11 field goals in three games with a pair of five-FG efforts. You can’t expect that many opportunities every week—he only had one in Week 14—but the Broncos can move the ball into scoring range as good as any team. With the Bengals’ ability to stop the pass, we should see at least a couple of drives stall out in field-goal range to give Barth a shot at double-digit points for a third time in four weeks.

Packers DEF at Tampa Bay

Green Bay put its awful second half of Week 14 in the rear-view mirror on Sunday, albeit against a far inferior offense. But fortunately for the Packers, they’ve got another date with an inferior offense and THIS time are smarting after a tough loss that clouded the team’s playoff picture. Josh McCown has eight interceptions and four fumbles in his six games since returning from injury, so I think the Packers make a high-floor/high-ceiling play this week.
