Hey, whaddya know. Andy got three games right. That took long enough. Doesn’t get him back to positive, but it puts him in striking distance. Tony joined him in the negatives this week. Good time for the season to end, I guess.

Andy: To say I’ve got momentum is severely far-fetched, but I’ll take a good week. Hoping to end on a good note. (more…)
I’d be surprised if anyone is really sitting on the edge of the seats waiting for this one, so I’ll keep it brief. It was a week of ties – Andy and Tony were dead even in both alternative and straight-up picks. That allows Andy to maintain his lead.

A third solid week in a row for Tony, and second victory in three weeks–probably too little, too late, but at least he’ll likely have a balance heading into the offseason.

Andy: I really like this lineup, which is probably bad. Every time I think I really like a lineup, it sucks.
$500 – New England (+2.5, -110) at Miami – In the picks segment, I’m pretty sure I went with Miami. I think I’m getting that one wrong. I should have thought more ahead of time about what Bill Belichick did to Justin Herbert the other day. It’s what he does to all rookie QBs. And Tua has not played as much as Herbert. And most of his front-line weapons are beaten up. I now think the Patriots win this game. (more…)
This up-and-down, COVID-impacted season is nearing an end. Tony had narrowed the gap considerably, but in week 14 he kicked it all away. Andy lengthened his lead with only three weeks left.
