Running backs have become a commodity in recent years, falling out of the first round of college drafts and struggling to get the big
money contracts many believe they deserve. Few veteran free agent runners fell into better positions this off-season than Toby Gerhart, however. After four years of putting up solid numbers while backing up Adrian Peterson, he landed in Jacksonville with a chance to be the main ball carrier. Can he show he’s got what it takes to be the bellcow? Or will the Jaguars be looking for another starting RB in a year?

Arian Foster was off to a solid start in 2013 before injuries took a toll, ending the one-time-top-fantasy-pick-overall’s season.
He’s back and running at full strength – without his one-time backfield mate Ben Tate to steal carries. But there are still plenty of question marks hovering over the head of this aging star. It’s a new era in Houston – new coach, new QB, new blocking scheme. Can Foster rebound?

Few off-seasons have been as strange as the one experienced by Carolina Panthers. Coming off a surprise trip to the playoffs, fans
watched as virtually the entire WR corps was traded or allowed to leave as free agents. The team is left with TE Greg Olsen and a collection of rookies and free agents that will cobble together Cam Newton’s supporting cast for 2014. The highest expectations, arguably, have been put on 10-year veteran Jerricho Cotchery.
