Rough week for Tony. He missed all but one. Andy hit all but one. The work Tony’s done catching up the last few weeks is mostly gone.
Here are the standings:
Week 10 | Andy 12-2 |
Season | Andy 79-67-2 |
Here are this week’s alternative picks:
1) Andy: Chargers over Broncos – Los Angeles might not have a home, but they’ve got game.
2) Tony: Saints over Eagles – The Eagles are spiraling out of control, and facing a Saints team that seems to somehow get better every week. Guess there’s no reason a different reason to eat horses**t for Eagles fans this year.
3) Tony: Steelers over Jaguars – This might be a trap game for the Steelers, but they’ve looked solid with the cloud of Le’Veon Bell hanging over them–let’s see what they can do with that situation cleared up.
4) Andy: Panthers over Lions – Detroit’s not buying Patricia’s game yet. Carolina will rebound from big loss to Steelers.
5) Tony: Texans over Washington – Washington won last week despite giving up over 500 yards offense. They probably won’t do either of those things this week.
6) Andy: Cardinals over Raiders – Oakland has quit.
7) Tony: Falcons over Cowboys – No team can squander the goodwill of a tough divisional win quicker than the Cowboys. I’d say they’re playing for Jason Garrett’s job, but even Jerry has to see that ship has already sailed.
8) Andy: Ravens over Bengals – May regret this one if Flacco is out.
9) Tony: Titans over Colts – I still don’t really believe in the Titans, but if they win another one, I might have to re-think that.
10) Andy: Vikings over Bears – Bears are favored, but the schedule hasn’t been tough. Think the purple squeeks out a close one.
11) Tony: Giants over Buccaneers – Despite a fervent fan base in the biggest city in the country, this game could should have the lowest ratings of the week. The only intriguing factor is whether or not the Giants can stay in the hunt for the #1 overall pick.
12) Andy: Seahawks over Packers – Two decent teams on Thursday night – always pick the home team.
13) Tony: Chiefs over Rams – This is the first time in recent memory that Monday night seemingly got the best game of the week. Not sure it’s enough to get me to watch it, but it should be a great game.
Tony lost a lot of ground in our straight-up picks last week too. Here are those standings:
Andy | Tony T | Tony P | |
Week 10 | 8-6 | 5-9 | 9-5 |
Season | 95-51-2 | 92-54-2 | 94-52-2 |
And those picks:
Andy | Tony T | Tony P |
Chargers | Chargers | Chargers |
Saints | Saints | Saints |
Steelers | Steelers | Steelers |
Texans | Texans | Texans |
Cardinals | Cardinals | Cardinals |
Falcons | Falcons | Cowboys |
Ravens | Bengals | Bengals |
Titans | Titans | Titans |
Vikings | Bears | Vikings |
Bucs | Giants | Buccaneers |
Seahawks | Packers | Packers |
Rams | Chiefs | Chiefs |
I got Seattle vs Green Bay wrong last night so I remain 100 % on Thursday games. LOL It’s always tough to decide to go against a pretty healthy Aaron Rodgers even though I have a lot respect for Wilson. Mostly Rodgers has only made the losses close this year.
The Line was 2.5 Seattle making you think they slightly favored the Packers but probably just wanted more action. I picked Seattle!! I guess I lost my conviction when it came to ZoneBlitz. Sometimes thinking more isn’t good. :)
